Beautiful violet Balsam flowers and several buds
This Balsam plant grew by itself from seeds scattered by previous plants. You may know that Balsam fruits burst open when mature and disperse the seeds automatically to nearby soil. That is how this plant started growing, meaning that I had not planted the seed! Three beautiful violet Balsam flowers have bloomed. Many more buds are seen on the plant which will bloom sooner or later. Though it is a common plant, I am happy to see the nice flowers whenever they bloom.
