Beautiful Celosia (Cockscomb) flower
Beautiful Celosia (Cockscomb) flower on the tallest of the three plants. The name comes from the resemblance of the flower to the cock’s comb. The other two plants in the same pot are quite dwarfs compared to this plant. There are taller and stouter Celosia plants in my garden, planted on ground soil. But they are yet to flower. What I have noticed is that smaller plants in small garden pots flower early, but the flowers are quite small.
